Terms & Conditions

Aging Powerfully with Melissa Grelo — Retreat Terms & Conditions

 

Effective Date: June 26, 2025.

By registering for the Retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms & Conditions.

 

Thank you for joining us for the Aging Powerfully with Melissa Grelo Retreat (the “Retreat”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all participants attending the Retreat. By registering, you agree to the following:

1. Registration & Payment

  • A completed registration form and full payment (as outlined on our booking platform) are required to secure your spot.

  • All payments must be made via the approved platform (e.g., credit card, PayPal, or other integrated system).

​

 

2. Cancellations & Refunds

Participant Cancellations:

  • Cancellations before August 30, 2025 will receive a full refund, minus a $100 admin fee.

  • Refund requests after August 30, 2025 will assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be dependent on length of Waitlist.  

  • You may request transfer of your registration to another participant with prior written notice and approval.

Retreat Organizer Cancellations:

  • In the unlikely event that we cancel the Retreat due to low registration, illness, natural disaster, or any other force majeure event, we will do our best to reschedule the retreat and if that is not possible, you will receive a full refund of payments made to us. We are not responsible for any other costs incurred (e.g., airfare, lodging, or transportation).

 

3. Health & Medical Disclaimer

  • The Retreat is designed for women 40+ and may include physical activities, including strength training and light movement.

  • By registering, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate. You are responsible for consulting your healthcare provider before attending.

  • We are not responsible for any injury, illness, or condition that arises during or after the Retreat.

4. Liability Waiver

  • You agree to release and hold harmless the Retreat organizers, Melissa Grelo, all facilitators, venue staff, and related parties from any claims, demands, or causes of action arising from your participation, including but not limited to personal injury, property loss, illness, or delays.

5. Code of Conduct

  • All participants are expected to engage in a respectful, inclusive, and supportive manner.

  • Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the Retreat without refund.

  • We reserve the right to deny participation to anyone for reasons related to safety, security, or integrity of the experience.

6. Media Release

  • By attending the Retreat, you grant Aging Powerfully with Melissa Grelo the right to photograph, film, or record you and to use this content for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes in perpetuity, unless you opt out in writing before the event.

7. Retreat Changes

  • We reserve the right to modify the Retreat schedule, location, presenters, or content as needed for logistical or safety reasons. We will always aim to deliver an equivalent experience in the event of any changes.

8. Privacy

  • Your personal information will only be used for event management and communication purposes and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

​

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be handled in the jurisdiction of Ontario.
